Hello! My names Carson Stewart, in case you don't know me here's a little history of how and why I am here...
Over five years of professional experience capturing images. My journey started in high school, taking prom and automotive photos for friends, and has since grown into a thriving business specializing in portrait photography. I’m drawn to images that evoke emotion, play with contrast, and push the boundaries of composition and lighting.
I graduated with honors from Algonquin College’s Photography program, where I proudly served as the student and program representative from 2020 to 2022. Afterward, I continued my education in Business Management at Algonquin while working alongside some of Ottawa’s top photography companies. This experience allowed me to assist in projects ranging from government campaigns to fashion shoots for modeling agencies, tech company interviews, and corporate videography.
Beyond photography, I’m an adventurer. Whether I’m hiking, climbing, camping, biking, or travelling, I find inspiration in the outdoors. My most recent trip was four months traveling through eight countries, including Southeast Asia, Japan, South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand, gaining new perspectives that continue to shape my creative approach. For me, the best education comes from exploring the world—learning through cultures, experiences, and real-life adventures.
I aim to create images that last and bring value to your home or business. Calm, easy going, and organized is my approach to life and my photo process.
